I have just added a link to my office's website. I love my job and continue to feel more blessed every day. I have found a place where I want to go, not just for a job, but when I'm having a rough time I know that I will feel better when I get to work. My co-workers are a joy, I'm finally doing something that doesn't feel like spinning my wheels for no purpose, and it even fits my personality. Its hard to imagine a job where you are welcomed and loved because of who you are not in spite of it, but that is what I feel at my office. Its a busy place and I do lots of things. A short list includes: updating the website, assisting the person in charge of putting churches and pastors together, helping to prepare documents for the committees on minstry who authorize and evaluate a minister's standing in the Northern California Nevada Conference of the United Church of Christ, taking minutes at the Board of Directors Meetings, and being administrative assistant to the Conference Minister. It seems like a lot of juggling sometimes, but I really LOVE my job!!!!!

It's pretty bare, but I've started a page called Soul Food for particular quotes, songs, or ideas that nourish my spirit. It is sort of like a virtual manifestation of my little "happy box" that I have on my dresser. It will be home to those really special things I treasure. This would be a good place to go if you want to see what makes me tick. LOL Things that have shaped me. (or warped me as the case may be) *wink*

I recently found a page of random ponderings that I wrote a little while ago. It's a little rambling, a lot of pondering, and more of a hmmmmmm than an aha kind of thing. I call it Faith or Fairy Tale and it can be found in the Heretic's Hideout.
And before I forget and fall asleep for tonight, if you get a chance go read (or reread) the poem I wrote last year for Ash Wednesday, entitled (oddly enough) Thank you, God for the Ashes. And now I bid you adieu! (At least until I remember something else) *grin*
